The famous Spanish tenor Plácido Domingo returns to Portugal for a unique concert in Lisbon, at the Altice Arena, on October 15th, at 9 pm.

With a new concert, whose program promises to be unforgettable, Plácido Domingo, one of the biggest names in world opera, will present the most popular songs from his extensive repertoire on October 15th, at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon. An unforgettable night full of legendary songs performed by one of the biggest names in music. Plácido Domingo will be accompanied by the Lisbon Sinfonietta orchestra, composed of 65 musicians.

Singer and conductor, tenor and baritone, interpreter of great world themes and protagonist of opera films, under the direction of Francesco Rosi and Franco Zeffirelli, Plácido was also director of several theaters, promoter of young talents and founder of the prestigious world opera competition , Operalia, also promoting zarzuela throughout the world. He has performed unforgettable duets with John Denver, Julio Iglesias and Julie Andrews and has won 12 Grammy’s Awards, including three Latin Grammy’s. Adding to this vast curriculum, Plácido was one of the greatest opera promoters in the world along with José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti, when together they formed the legendary opera group, “The Three Tenors”.
